Unmanned Aircraft Systems or Drones

Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), or drones, have become a popular tool in many different areas, from aerial photography to functioning as reconnaissance aircraft in disaster areas.

The LAANC system is a requirement for operating in Class D airspace, however the airport recommends calling the tower manager before operating any drone flight. To avoid delays to your operation, the airport also recommends requesting authorization with the LAANC system at least a day in advance.
